History
Bob Sabourin opened the shop April 1st, 1960 at 695 Bank St. as "Professional Guitar Studios." In 1961 Christine Weber came to take guitar lessons and the following year they married. Together they ran the studio and the shop evolved into a music store. In 1965 the name was changed to Metro Music. Throughout the years the focus has always been on guitars & instruction, the associated musical necessities and accoutrements and various treasures. For the past couple of decades the shop has been run by Danielle Sabourin (daughter).
